my name is sarah noemi kali sulis volpintesta, each of my names holds special and unique meaning to me.  Sarah is my given name it means g-d's  princess and laughing one- i keep it to remember my family even when they are far from me and so that i might laugh through my struggles. noemi for my paternal grandmother who, i believe, gave me my strega blood. Kali for the hindu goddess of death, an ultimate mother goddess representing beinings and endings, birth and death, the unity of all opposites- she is one of my two patron goddess who i believe remain close to me at all times. Sulis is my second patron, celtic goddess of the sun she is present in all flame and every sacred water- i wear a water amulet carved from bone at all times. Volpintesta is my taken name- Italien for fox head, naming the traits my family prides itself on…cunning, and quite inteligence.
